About Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) practices transform the way we think about and react to
stress. The MBSR program was developed in the early 1980s by Jon Kabat-Zinn, Ph.D. at the University of Massachusetts.
This class remains unique in the combination of skills it offers for
body, mind, and emotional awareness. It has since been widely adopted
by hospitals and medical offices, especially for the treatment of
long-term physical and emotional stress and pain.
