Welcome!  This group is for food allergy sufferers as well as parents, relatives or caregivers of allergic kids.  Many of our members are based in the SF Bay Area, and we also have a strong online support community on BigTent.

Our group was started by two mothers of food allergic children, who wanted to be able to share experiences face-to-face (as well as electronically).  To our surprise, there wasn't already a support group based in the Bay Area - so we started the SF Bay Area Support Group!

Our group's mission is to build a strong, collaborative support group, sharing our knowledge and experiences with each other.  

We meet regularly to discuss day-to-day issues regarding living with food allergies, with a focus on raising children with food allergies in a safe and supportive environment.
