Welcome to the Bay Area Food Allergy support group!

Until recently, food allergies were very uncommon.  In the last 10 years, more and more people have been diagnosed with life-threatening food allergies.  Most are usually young children, but it is possible to develop food allergies at any age.

A new food allergy diagnosis means changes to the way your life is organized. Many newly diagnosed people and their caregivers often do not understand the impact food allergies will have, or are not prepared for these changes.  Knowledge, along with a support make this transition much easier to manage.

Our group has learned to live with food allergies, and we would like to help.  Our mission is to build a strong, collaborative group that shares our knowledge, experiences and support.  People with food allergies, their caregivers, friends and family are welcome to join our group.
